The Joyful Brush Membership/Subscription Terms

As a member of The Joyful Brush, you are paying for access to our classroom on our website. As long as your subscription is active, you can access the lessons in your Joyful Brush membership. You may stop your membership at any time.

If you request to stop your membership and have time remaining in your current billing period, you can continue to access all your lessons until the end of the billing period. Your subscription payments will automatically stop at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again unless you rejoin The Joyful Brush. If you’d like to see when your billing period ends, click the “My Subscriptions” link on your Account page. The “Next Payment Date” is when your membership and access will stop. There are no refunds (prorated or full) for cancelled memberships.

By registering for this membership, you accept, agree with and understand that no refunds will be issued, and that it is your responsibility to ensure you have a computer to access the course that is compatible with the system requirements for the course. You also acknowledge and accept that The Joyful Brush and Nancy Medina Art LLC cannot be held responsible for any technical problems encountered following the purchase of the course. By registering, you accept, agree and understand you are responsible for your own results and progress, and no warranties or guarantees are offered verbally or in writing regarding the results. Those who are also teaching art classes are asked to disclose this information at registration. You agree also that all content of this course is fully protected by copyright and intellectual property law, and cannot be disseminated in any format, shared, taught, sold or distributed without written consent by Nancy Medina Art LLC. In other words, if you wish to take the course with a friend, each individual must purchase a membership in The Joyful Brush. Failure to abide by these terms can result in the membership account being closed. All terms and conditions are subject to change.

Product Return policy

UPDATE - During this time of Coronavirus, there are no refunds or exchanges on any original paintings purchased.  ~ Original paintings that are returned in perfect condition within 10 calendar days of receipt will be refunded, minus shipping and packaging costs, as well as a $75 restocking fee, with the exception of physical products shipped outside the United States. There are no refunds on commissioned paintings, sale items of any kind, including garden flags and DVDs that are opened, Painting Brilliant Colors 6-week ecourses, or Joyful Brush memberships and no returns or refunds on physical products shipped outside the United State. There are no refunds on Secret Sale and Holiday sale items, as shipping is not guaranteed prior to December 25. Please do not ship items back without notifying the artist, so the correct shipping address can be provided. Items that are scratched, scored, dented, stained, that have broken or dented corners, tears, odd smells, and any other imperfections will not be refunded. There are no returns or exchanges on video/DVD sales if the packaging has been opened.

In-Person Workshops Terms

All attendees are required to confirm they have received a COVID vaccine and do not have fever or other symptoms of COVID. If cancelling 90 or more days prior, half the deposit is refunded. Cancellations of less than 90 days, no refunds or transfers to other classes can be issued. Due to the inability to fill your spot when cancelling on short notice, and due to the expense that is paid for your supplies, meals and other gift items for in person workshops, we are unable to transfer your space to other workshops. If traveling or flying, it is advised that you purchase travel insurance, refundable airline tickets and hotel reservations. Airfare, hotel, and any other expenses will not be refunded by Nancy Medina Art LLC. Failure to pay any outstanding balance due for registration by the due date will forfeit your space and deposit for the class.

E-Course - Online Class Terms

By registering for an e-course or online class, you accept, agree with, and understand that no refunds will be issued and that it is your responsibility to ensure you have a computer to access the course that is compatible with the system requirements for the course. You also acknowledge and accept that Nancy Medina Art LLC cannot be held responsible for any technical problems encountered following the purchase of the course. Also, you accept, agree with, and understand you will need a system capable of downloading, storing and accessing the lessons.

By registering, you accept, agree and understand you are responsible for your own results and progress, and no warranties or guarantees are offered verbally or in writing regarding the results. If a payment plan is offered, you agree that your credit card will be automatically charged on the date denoted in the purchase information.

You agree also that all content of this course is fully protected by copyright and intellectual property law, and cannot be disseminated in any format, shared, taught, or distributed without written consent by Nancy Medina Art LLC. We do encourage you to share your lessons and experience with others, but please fully disclose and credit the lessons to the teacher, Nancy Medina. If you wish to take the course with a friend, each individual must purchase a seat in the course.

You agree that Nancy Medina Art cannot guarantee the availability of the recommended supplies in your area. It is the responsibility of each student to ensure (s)he has access to the supplies necessary to complete the course. My support team is always happy to answer questions about supplies.

You agree and consent that signing up for online classes means Nancy Medina Art LLC will collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you. These may include email address, first and last name, address, cookies and usage data, and may be used to contact you related to your online purchases as well as send you newsletters or communications for future courses. You may opt out of these communications at any time.
